Programme of Work Experience:

The Education Centre has developed and expanded the provision of Work Experience for students in years 10 & 11.

The Education Centre believes strongly in the personal, social and long term benefits that the students gain from placements in a working environment.

These Include:

• An understanding of what is require as an employee

• Accepting advice, guidance and direction from a working colleague, supervisor or manager.

• Working closely with others in a working environment, building the confidence to complete required tasks.

• An understanding of what training/ qualifications may be required regarding their future career choices.

• Placements are arranged with the agreement of the students and the parents/carers.
